"The Masculinity Zone" is more than a program; it's a movement towards redefining and embracing authentic manhood. We believe that by providing men with the tools, knowledge, and support they need, we can collectively create a more inclusive and empowering vision of masculinity.

This is a men's group focused on masculinity aiming to explore and discuss the concept of masculinity in a safe and supportive environment. These sessions will cover a wide range of topics, including men’s roles, societal expectations, personal identity, emotional well-being, relationships, and self-expression.

Men's classes on masculinity can be found in various forms, such as workshops, support groups, coaching and/or mentoring groups, and educational programs. Additionally, some of the educational tools will involve Christian values along with Biblical references to assist with healthy and positive lifestyle for men.

If you are specifically looking for a men's class on masculinity, we would recommend joining ‘The Masculinity Zone’ for male focused classes. Additionally, there will be online resources, books, or podcasts that explore masculinity and can provide valuable insights and discussions on the topic.

Some topics of discussion are:

• What is the definition of a Man (Biblical and outside of the church)

• What are issues Men are facing in today’s society.

• Who am I / What is my purpose on this earth?

• How political policies are affecting men and manhood.

• Family Leadership of marriage or relationship / Fathers and sons / communicating with family/ Being a better dad, etc.

Masculinity Zone Foundational Beliefs

This is a place to assist with “Unleashing Genuine Manhood.” Our specific passion is to help men grow with their masculinity, strengthen their relationships with their families, have an accountability partner with other men, serve their community and ultimately live a life that is pleasing to God. We believe in prayer and will open and close each session with prayer. Through this community men’s group, we are still standing on the foundation of God through Jesus Christ and using our two foundational scriptures of:

· 1st Kings 2:2-4 (English Standard Version), “I am about to go the way of all the earth. Be strong, and show yourself a man, and keep the charge of the Lord your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his rules, and his testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn, that the Lord may establish his word that he spoke concerning me, saying, ‘If your sons pay close attention to their way, to walk before me in faithfulness with all their heart and with all their soul…” and

· 1st Corinthians 16:13-14 (ESV), “Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.” We hope that the content that we share will serve as a means for you to grow through your daily lives.

We also believe that every man has struggles and face various challenges. However, we must watch and be diligent as we protect our honor, integrity, and our families as Isaiah 62:6-7(NKJV) shares, “I have set watchmen on your walls…” Through these struggles, our hope is that men are strengthen in their faith, their desire to serve, willingness to connect with other men, and understand that you are not in this struggle alone. Moreover, our hope is that you, if you choose too, will find a newfound faith in Christ that will ultimately lead you to serve in your local church to strengthen that body of believers. Lastly, God is our personal empowerment coach who continuously speaks to us to reassure us to be men, be mature mentally, spiritually, physically, emotionally, and relationally. Through His involvement with us, He gives our lives meaning, refines our purpose, and helps us achieve our potential. Again, we are here is assist with “Unleashing Genuine Manhood!”

Purpose / Vision / Mission

Purpose: The purpose of such classes is to encourage men to reflect on and question traditional notions of masculinity, and to foster a healthier and more inclusive understanding of what it means to be a man, especially today. They will involve open discussions, group activities, and educational resources to facilitate self-reflection and personal growth. Also, to engage and encourage men to understand that they are a valuable source for their families. Also, The Zone assists with personal development, connecting with other men as they build their leadership abilities, self-esteem, financial/personal wealth, relationship skills, general life skills emotional awareness and living a healthy lifestyle.

Vision: The Vision of The Zone (For Men) is to equip men with attaining their dreams of a prosperous life (family & career), goals of achieving more, and desires of a success life. The objective is to assist them to accomplish this by: • To encourage men and help them build or maintain strong families. • Inspiring the greatness within them to reach their success. • To provide strategic men’s opportunities that will grow them in in a tangible way in support and impact their community. • Respecting men and listening with an attentive ear to what you they want to achieve. • Empowering them by providing educational material to assist with their spiritual, wholistic, and financial growth. • To provide opportunities to fulfill their purpose in life. • Leading men toward the realization of their dreams, goals, and desires. Mission: To provide vital resources for building and sustaining their success. The Zone team is eager and ready to help men with reaching their goals by delivering relevant information to assist with their progress and by creating open discussions where a man’s voice will be heard. The Zone offers men instruction and experience in life purpose, leadership, financial, Christian values, goal setting, accountability, and mentoring skills. We will do some Zoom meeting with breakout session with the topic that we discussed in the face-to-face meetings. We will set up the Zoom meetings prior to leaving the facility meeting.

Guiding Principles for the Meetings

The meetings will be designed to bring in men from various backgrounds, possible different philosophical beliefs in religion (however, they will know that the group is based on Christian/Biblical Principles). In keeping with this, here are some guiding principles that we would like to set to keep men coming and not drive them away. The guiding principles are: · Be present. · Be positive. · We can agree to disagree, however, we will not have any arguments. · Bring a praise and/or prosperity report.
· Bring a guest who is eager to learn and grow. · Refrain from bringing or wearing any demeaning, derogatory, political shirts, or political campaign materials. · We may talk about political policies that affect masculinity. · Refrain from any profanity or demeaning language. · Keep the room positive with positive energy. · No one will dominate the conversation with their own views or agenda. The facilitator of the group will control the conversation.
